ITALY WANTS T.V. HELPING REFEREES:: a few
days ago Italy Soccer Association sent a letter to UEFA (European
Soccer board) asking for T.V. cameras helping referees take
better decisions while the games. Italian soccer had have a lot
of problems recently involving players, coaches and referees:
goals did not called, questionables offsides, etc. everything
joined to accusations about fixed games for Sport Lottery, give
the Italian Federation an oportunity for claim about it.
The Italian Soccer President, Franco Carraro, say that is
neccessary to permit referee make consultations with TV cameras
when there are doubts about something called. "It is an
obligation for FIFA and UEFA to think about it and satisfy a
request do for too much fans from Italy and Worldwide", said
Carraro in his letter.
However, Jospeh Blatter, FIFA President, has said that "when
TV start taking decisions, the soccer will be finish, because it
(soccer) is polemic and passion".
The last UEFA meeting finally resolved that TV cameras only can
be used for take a decision about if ball cross or not entirely
the goal line.
